Hi guys. So today, as sort of a kick off, I am going to talk about several
indie rock bands that I really, REALLY, like. Some of these May be debatable as to whether they are indie or rock or anything else. So, let's start this thing.
My favorite indie rock band with a leading male vocalist would either be 30 Seconds To Mars or Fun. The thing about these true is that they are truly different, but fall somewhat into the same category. Jared Leto, singer and songwriter, started when he was young. The Letos never had much money, and his single mother raised him and his brother (Shannon, who is the guitarist,) by herself. Talk about inspiration. Nate Ruess has this unique sound to him that just opens up a lot of feeling and thoughts which I love.
If you haven't heard either of these bands, be sure to check them out. And hey, if it isn't your thing, I totally get it! Just love the music that you want. Nobody has that power to choose for you. :)
